Camp Wa-Kon-Tah
The summer provides a wonderful time for children to enjoy the outdoors, learn and have fun while making new friends and memories. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Springfield, the Y’s summer camp offers an amazing outdoor experience. Our 26-acre property has hosted camps for over 60 years treating kids to outdoor activities such as arts and crafts, large and small group activities, hiking, archery, canoeing and much more. Although campers will spend most of their day experiencing the great outdoors, our property has ample shelter to protect them from the elements. Camp counselors are selected for their ability to provide a positive influence for the youth in our programs. All staff members are well trained and supervised by camp directors.
