Preschool Gymnastics

Preschool Gymnastic Lessons (ages 1-5)
Gymnastics provide a fun way for children to move their bodies and interact in a group setting. In addition to the fun factor, our lessons focus on coordination, motor skills, flexibility and balance.
Toddle Bugs (ages 1-2)
Introduce your toddler to a wide variety of movements in a fun environment that provides an opportunity to develop and refine gross motor skills. Children move at their own pace with their parent or guardian’s involvement.
Tot Spot (ages 1-2)
This parent-child class is designed for maximum fun in a variety of learning environments. Every week your child will participate in themed gym activities and get creative in our art room. A third station will have something new each week of the session including music, sign language and circle time.
Loco Motion (ages 3-5)
Parents can enjoy 30 minutes to themselves during this instructor-led class full of fun and motor skill development. Your child’s self-esteem will grow as they learn new skills.
Explorers (ages 3-5)
Parents can enjoy 30 minutes to themselves during this instructor-led class that introduces your toddler to the Gymnastics Center. Gymnasts will learn jumps, rolls, bars and beam.
Tot Spot (ages 3-5)
This instructor-led class is designed for maximum fun in a variety of learning environments. Every week your child will participate in themed gym activities and get creative in our art room. A third station will have something new each week of the session including music, sign language and basic preschool skills.
KERASOTES
Preschool Gymnastic Lessons (ages 1-5)
We know preschoolers need to release excess energy, so those much need naps for both the parent and child can go off without a glitch. We do not have a full gymnastic center like the Downtown Y, but we will offer a preschool movement class. Please check back for program details coming soon.
Youth Gymnastics

Youth Gymnastics Progressive Program (ages 4-16)
Progression to each level is based on skill evaluations and coordinator approval. If you are interested in registering for gymnastic classes and are unsure of where to place your child, please contact the gymnastics coordinator at 544-9846. A time will be arranged to have your child’s skills assessed so he/she is placed in the appropriate level of instruction.
Gymsters (ages 4-6)
This course provides an introduction to the gymnastics equipment in a creative, fun and safe environment. Basic skills using bars, low-beam, springboard, and floor are learned. Locomotion and balance, jumps, rolls, body positions, stretching and strength conditioning are taught.
Level 1 (co-ed, ages 6-13 or 4-5 year olds who have successfully completed Gymsters)
Basics are taught at this level that aid in forming building blocks for attaining higher level skills. Balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength are taught and practiced. Instruction at this level consists of floor, bars, low-beam and springboard (preparatory vault instruction only).
Level 2 - Super Stars (co-ed, ages 6-13)
This class is for students who have successfully completed Level 1. Instruction includes floor, bars, beam (low/high), springboard, and vault.
Level 3/Pre-Team (co-ed, ages 8-16)
This class is for students who have accomplished Levels 1 and 2. Instruction includes floor, bars, beam (low/high), vault, and springboard.
Level 4/Pre-Team (co-ed, ages 8-16)
Students must have successfully completed Levels 1, 2, and 3. Instruction will include bars, floor, beam (low/high), vault, and springboard.
Specialty Gymnastics

Our specialty classes provide a great way to focus your training on a specific skill.
Cheer/Tumble & Poms (ages 5-14
Athletes will work on a variety of tumbling skills, learn dances, cheers and how to stunt safely. We will perform for the different sports taking place through the Y.
Homeschool Gymnastics (ages 7-12)
This is a level class for homeschoolers only. Come and enjoy gymnastics with your friends.
