Y Kid Dance-Fitness
Many children lack the opportunity to remain fit and healthy. Schools offer some activity as part of their compulsory curriculum; however, it does not satisfy the government activity guidelines for children to accumulate 60 minutes of moderate activity on a daily basis. Through this program, we encourage kids to move, have fun and get fit at the same time. We offer two types of dance fitness classes for kids.
Zumbatomics (ages 8-13)
Zumbatomics is a kid’s version of regular adult Zumba classes. Challenging moves are simplified so that kids can “get it” and feel a sense of accomplishment.
Kids Hip Hop (ages 8-13)
Kids will learn cool dance steps and routines while listening to kid-friendly songs.
KERASOTES
Double Dutch Fun (ages 8-12)
This class goes back to basics fun with double dutch jumping. Learn how to jump rope and get fit.
Punk Rope (ages 8+)
Punk rope is a playful cross between recess and boot camp. The combination of themed workouts, creative calisthenics, fitness games, rope jumping, and raise-the-roof music brings out the best in children.
Zumbatomics (ages 8-12)
