Nancy and her daughter J. write:

"J. and I would like to take the time to tell you all thank you for your kindness, thoughtfulness and caring.  The YMCA has made a big difference in both our lives.  We have a place where we are accepted.  The YMCA has put joy in my child’s life, for she now has friends and so do I.  I can’t say enough of the change in J. & I.  We both are happier and look forward to all the YMCA has to offer.  I see a big difference in J.’s self-esteem and the praise YMCA staff gives to her is very genuine.  The YMCA cares about children as well as adults.  We have a family who are happy to always see us and that makes my heart smile!"

Giving

Our success will always be measured by the lives we touch.  Unfortunately, memberships and program fees at the Springfield YMCA do not cover all the costs necessary to support our programs.  That is why we need your help.

With each dollar that is donated, the Springfield YMCA is able to provide kids with life-enriching activities that may not otherwise exist for them.

$1100 sends a child to camp for the summer.

$500 teaches thirteen children how to swim.

$100 provides ten youth with a month’s membership to the Y, where they can learn and grow in a safe, values-building environment.

Your contribution to the Springfield YMCA, in any amount, is tax-deductible and very much appreciated.  We could not do what we do without the generosity of our community.  Contact us to make a donation.

Strong Kids Campaign

At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of kids in our community.  But when some are left out, it leaves us all a little poorer.

That’s because giving kids a safe and nurturing place to go benefits everyone.  By introducing them to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful adults, we make the community a better place to live.  One child at a time.  One family at a time.

Your donations stay local and donors to the Strong Kids Campaign are recognized as Century Club Members starting at the $150 level.

Century Club Member: $150-249

Century Club Patron:

$250-499
Century Club Youth Sponsor: $500-999
Chairman’s Roundtable: $1,000 and above

Donors at these levels are recognized in YMCA publications and displayed on plaques at our location.  Chairman’s Roundtable Members also receive a large banner placed in a prominent location on-site.  The YMCA  has over 500 visitors a day.
