  • Where Can I Purchase Myzone Belts? Belts will be available for purchase at the front desk of both YMCA branches
  • When Can I Sign up for Myzone Belt Orientation? When purchasing your Myzone Belt – Check Myzone Dates Flyer for dates that work with your schedule.
  • Where Can I use my Myzone Belt? On your own during your workouts, in group exercise classes beginning June 11, with your personal trainer, or in Zone 40.
  • What is Zone 40? ZONE40 HIIT Workout is a NEW group training experience that is specially designed with MYZONE heart rate system! The goal is to work hard – to push your heart rate above 80% – but ZONE40 makes it fun.  Sessions are fast paced, competitive, and more varied than other workouts. You’ll enjoy a great calorie-burning hit and a big after-session buzz. ZONE40 is a high-intensity interval training program that hits calories hard during and after you work out. The intensity ramps up quickly in the session and delivers a big metabolic effect to go on burning calories while you carry on with your day.
  • When is Zone 40? July 9-August 12
  • Do I Need to Download the Myzone App? Not necessarily. You can still access your workouts on the website, but we recommend that you download the app to see real time results.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Whether you are just getting started, want to lose weight or have been a workout “fanatic” for a long time, you can enjoy the shared group training experience, whatever your level.  Train to your own ability.  Be prepared to feel motivated and challenged during the workout in a group setting and move your body at the proper intensity for you. The harder you work the greater the results will be.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A ZONE40 SESSION?

The Zone40 HIIT Workout is a 40minute class which combines the use of TRX, kickboxing/bags, battle ropes, kettlebells and functional training exercises/equipment and the MYZONE heart rate system to offer an amazing workout guaranteed to get results with regular participation.  Each exercise section will be repeated 3x for 45 seconds and with 15 second rest.

WHAT WILL ZONE40 DO FOR ME?

  • Improved muscular endurance.
  • Improved aerobic threshold and cardio fitness for greater everyday fitness.
  • A great post-exercise EPOC calorie burn (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) which means you burn calories during and after your workout.
