Family Events Calendar
We are excited to introduce our monthly calendar of events for families! All events are available at no cost for those with a family membership. We are offering fun ways for your family to get moving, be creative and spend time together - join us for Creation Station, Family Yoga Classes, Bounce House Bonanza and much more! Online reservations are required, and all events (except the Youth Fitness class) require families to participate together. Email Azia at adonovan@SpringfieldYMCA.org with any inquiries or questions!

Youth Events & Programs
School Age Care (SAC)
The YMCA offers care outside of class time for children in kindergarten through 6th grade in our local communities. Daily activities include group games, homework assistance, and free play. Each week also includes an arts/crafts activity or STEM project. Registration for the 2021/2022 school year is now open!
School Days Out
When school is out, the YMCA provides an adult supervised, safe place for your school-age child grades K-6 to come and have fun. Group activities are planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include play, arts and crafts, games, swimming, and more. Drop-off begins at 7 a.m. and children must be picked up by 6 p.m. Pre-registration is required.

Youth Triathlon Fitness Program
This program is meant to encourage, entice, and get kids excited to train for the YMCA’s Triathlon in June 2022. Participants will work on improving their technique and endurance in swimming, running, and biking. There will also be discussion on the importance of nutrition and sportsmanship.

Red Hot GLOW Spin for Strong Kids - February 11
Join us for this AWESOME fundraising event! This is a 60 minute cycling class completely lit by blacklights and glow necklaces. All proceeds will benefit the YMCA Strong Kids. Ready, set, GLOW! YMCA members sign up via Virtuagym app and non-members email Lacey at email@example.com
Donations Accepted at the Door
This area is a dedicated enhanced performance training space. It is used for our program “Studio 7”: HIIT classes, “Back to Basics” classes, functional training and restorative classes. It is specifically designed to bring something brand new to Springfield and help you reach your fitness goal.
TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete the exercises.

Our personal trainers are priced for value! With more trainers on staff, you will find the one who is best for your fitness goals. We have a great group option so you and your friends may work together to achieve your goals. Progress means results, and seeing results helps motivate you to strive for your next level of fitness. Our trainers keep you motived to meet your goals!
Sports Performance/Golf Performance
ANY GOLFER, AT ANY LEVEL, KNOWS THAT THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE. WHAT THEY MAY NOT REALIZE, HOWEVER, IS THAT THE BEST INVESTMENT IN IMPROVING THEIR GOLF GAME IS IN THEIR OWN PHYSICAL CONDITIONING. NO GOLF CLUB, GOLF BALL OR ITEM OF CLOTHING CAN ENHANCE YOUR ABILITY TO SWING A GOLF CLUB LIKE IMPROVEMENT IN MOBILITY AND FITNESS. A FEW SIMPLE CHANGES AND ADJUSTMENTS IN FORM, FLEXIBILITY AND STABILITY, IN ADDITION TO A VERY THOROUGH TPI (TITLEIST PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE) SCREENING AND ASSESSMENT CAN IMPACT YOUR GOLF GAME SIGNIFICANTLY.
