Youth Sports Camps
The Y encourage healthy competition, the value of participating, team building and individual development. This 4 day camp will be held at the Downtown YMCA Monday through Thursday 9:00am-11:30am. This includes team and individual play while incorporating fun contests and developing skill. The camp is focused on shooting, dribbling and passing with the correct technique. Camps will include scrimmages, small-sided games, contests and competitions.

Lucky Horseshoes Baseball Camp
Come have a fun filled day of baseball at Robin Roberts Stadium with our very own Springfield Lucky Horseshoes. ONE DAY ONLY!! Half day and full day option; full day will include lunch. Players will learn how to throw, field, hit, and base run during camp. 1/2 Day (9:00AM-12:00PM) Camp
The YMCA has run the largest YMCA league in downstate IL since 1975. Y's youth sports programs encourage healthy competition, value of participating, team building and individual development. Parent volunteers are paramount to our success. Coaches will receive coaching drills, tips and a credit reimbursement for future use. Teams are either made by coaches putting together their teams or from a free agent pool grouped together with players of similar ages or location to form a team. The games are Friday evenings for U4&U15 divisions and Saturday mornings for U6-U12 divisions. All players registered before the deadline will receive a Y jersey.

Summer Basketball Clinic
This twice a week intensive summer program is open for everyone going into grades 2-7. YMCA's youth sports programs encourage healthy competition, the value of participating, team building and individual development. This clinic will include skill development, games, with an emphasis on shooting, dribbling and passing. The clinic includes a T-shirt if registered 10 days prior to the start of the clinic. Limited capacity available!

The YMCA is a great place to enhance your child's baseball skills, learn the rules, concepts, field layout, and player positions. Sportsmanship is emphasized and everyone plays. All games will be played during the week at LOLJOS sports complex on the UIS campus. 1 practice per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday, as well as 1 game per week.

All games will be played during the week at LOLJOS sports complex on the UIS campus. 1 practice per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday, as well as 1 game per week.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
This tournament is for players entering 2nd grade through 5th grade. Prices are $30 per team. We are only accepting team registrations. Minimum of 3 players and maximum of 4 players. One adult may register an entire team. One adult must accompany the players to the tournament. This tournament includes a T-shirt for all participants and teams will play a minimum of 2 games. Advanced Karate Lessons
Advanced karate is for green belts or higher (or at the discretion of the instructors) begin or continue their karate journeys. This class incorporates blocks, kicks, and throws, punches, advanced techniques, combat, and self-defense techniques.
Member - $55 Public - $85
This karate class is designed for beginners as young as 5. Younger children can learn karate together with their parent, guardian or older sibling. Karate builds coordination, self-confidence, discipline and respect for yourself. This class incorporates blocks, punches, kicks, throws, and self-defense. Advanced karate is held on Wednesday nights from 5-6. Advanced karate level individuals can participate in any karate level classes. Families may receive multiple participant discounts.

Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art. The techniques blend several ancient self-defense systems into a single dynamic one. Extensive kicking and footwork patterns characterize this Olympic sport! Our program stresses self-esteem, self-discipline, physical fitness, balance, flexibility and concentration. Families may receive multiple participant discounts.
