This program is meant to encourage, entice, and get kids excited to train for the YMCA’s Triathlon in June 2022.
Participants will work on improving their technique and endurance in swimming, running, and biking. There will also be discussion on the importance of nutrition and sportsmanship.
At the start of the course, the students will be instructed to submit a personal goal; for example: “I want to be able to complete the YMCA triathlon in June”. Then, at the beginning of each class, we will set a goal for what we want to accomplish for the day’s session. At the end of the class, the kids will assess how they are progressing towards achieving their goals.
