Investing in our future!
How do I give?
We count on the generosity of our members, friends and partners to keep our doors open to whoever needs a place to go to help them be more healthy, confident, connected and secure. At the YMCA of Springfield, one in four people who walk through our doors receive some amount of financial assistance to help pay for membership or programs. We are proud of this, but need your help to continue to serve our community. If you would like more information on our annual community report, please view our Community Benefit Report, or contact Lynn Eck, Director of Development at 217-544-9846, ext. 116 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Capital Campaign Fundraising
The Gus and Flora Kerasotes YMCA is a wonderful addition to our Downtown branch. All YMCA members are able to use either facility to suit their personal needs, and we run family programming at both. Our community outreach is broader, and we have a greater ability to support more individuals and families as they pursue their health and wellness goals.
The final, important phase of capital campaign fundraising is to secure support to ensure the long-term stability of the Kerasotes YMCA. Like most families, the YMCA has a mortgage. The less money we must commit to our mortgage, the more funding we commit to our programs and community activism.
The YMCA is a good investment for your charitable dollar. When you give to the YMCA, you give to the leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility in our community and country. To date the campaign has experienced broad-based support from the community including many individuals, corporations, small businesses, YMCA members and friends. Any gift over $500 may be paid over a five-year period, and any gift is tax-deductible as the YMCA is a 501(c)(3) organization.
We appreciate your thoughtful consideration of a gift to our capital campaign. Please join our giving community. If you have any questions about a donation, please call Lynn Eck, 217-544-9846, ext. 116 or email@example.com.
