Want to take a piece of the Downtown YMCA with you? YMCA of Springfield is rolling out their “Lock It Up for Strong Kids” campaign. For $50 you can purchase a locker front from the downtown Y. Lockers will be on sale the month and all proceeds will benefit our Strong Kids fund. This Kids fund helps subsidize memberships for those in our community who cannot afford to participate in YMCA membership and programs. They do not turn anyone away due to their inability to pay. In 2019, the Y provided 4,503 scholarship memberships representing over $355,000 in scholarship subsidy.
