Wellness with Spinal Injury
-
The Wellness with Spinal Cord Injury program empowers individuals recovering from spinal cord injuries to rediscover an active, fulfilling life. Participants engage in adaptive fitness, receive education, and build community in a supportive environment.
-
Traditional physical therapy is often limited by insurance coverage, leaving individuals without long-term support. This program bridges that gap, helping participants maintain progress, build independence, and connect with others facing similar challenges.
-
A key feature in this program is the use of tabletop arm bikes, which allow participants to engage in cardiovascular exercise using only their upper body. This equipment supports heart health and physical activity while accommodating a wide range of mobility levels.
-
Participants must be discharged from rehab.
-
Discover movement. Find support. Develop Independence.

Cardiac Rehab
-
Coming soon this August!
-
Cardiac rehab is a medically supervised program designed to improve your cardiovascular health if you have experienced a heart attack, heart failure, angioplasty or heart surgery. Cardiac rehab has three equally important parts:
-
Exercise counseling and training: Exercise gets your heart pumping and your entire cardiovascular system working. You’ll learn how to get your body moving in ways that promote heart health.
-
Education for heart-healthy living: A key element of cardiac rehab is educating yourself: How can you manage your risk factors and take care of yourself? Quit smoking? Make heart-healthy nutrition choices?
-
Counseling to reduce stress: Stress hurts your heart. This part of cardiac rehab helps you identify and tackle everyday sources of stress.
