Soccer

Pass, shoot, score! YMCA soccer helps children learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as valuable life lessons. This program has age specific levels where players are taught basic game skills such as passing, receiving, shooting, footwork, and dribbling.

Basketball

Hit the hardwood with the folks who invented the game- the Y! Participants develop skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, and rebounding. Youth basketball at the Y combines team play and individual skills in a fun environment.

Softball

YMCA softball is a new program that will teach the fundamentals of softball to young girls with a passion for the game. Girls will learn how to throw, catch, and hit in a fun team atmosphere. Formats include T-Ball, Coach Pitch, and Player Pitch.

Volleyball

Volleyball is a great team sport. It is fun sport you will be able to play for many years. Let the Y teach you how to play or enhance your skills. Beginners and seasoned players welcome. Bring your friends, and meet new ones while you have a smashing time!

Baseball

YMCA baseball is designed to teach young players the fundamentals of the game. Participants will learn how to throw, catch, and hit. This program includes T-Ball and Coach Pitch. It allows players to learn and have fun!

Karate & Tae Kwon Do

Karate is a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and open hand techniques.

STRIDE

STRIDE is a fun fitness running program for boys in grades 3-5. Participants have the chance to share their thoughts and opinions about various life topics in a safe and encouraging environment that helps them develop character while building running endurance to compete in a 5k.

Youth Triathlon Fitness

This program is meant to encourage, entice, and get kids excited to train for the YMCA’s Triathlon in June. Participants will work on improving their technique and endurance in swimming, running, and biking. There will also be discussion on the importance of nutrition and sportsmanship.
