Following a gluten-free diet doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice taste.
This easy side dish that requires a few basic ingredients. It’s also a great way to use those leftover holiday cranberries. Going gluten free never tasted so good!
3 cups apples (cut up)
2 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup quick oatmeal
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 stick of butter (cut into small pieces)
Layer all ingredients in 2 qt. buttered dish. Start with the apples. End with the butter slides on top. Cook at 325 degrees for 55-65 minutes uncovered. Voila!
